Terms of Use
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Acceptance of these terms
By using the Waggy Paths app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
The service
Waggy Paths helps dog owners find dog-friendly places, check details such as fences, water and leash rules, and share updates with other owners.
Place details come from council records, third-party sources such as Google, and other users, so they may be out of date or wrong. Always check the signs and local rules at the place. The walk check gives general weather guidance, not a guarantee, so use your own judgement for your dog’s safety. Nothing on Waggy Paths is veterinary advice.
We may change, pause or stop parts of the service, and we may update these terms. If you keep using Waggy Paths after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Your account
Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your sign-in details secure. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has used it, email help@waggypaths.com.au straight away.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- post anything false, misleading, abusive or unlawful;
- add a place or an update you know to be wrong;
- upload content you don’t have the right to share;
- try to break, scrape or overload the service; or
- use Waggy Paths to advertise without our permission.
We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post, such as updates, confirmations and photos. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and share it in Waggy Paths, so other owners can see it. You confirm you have the right to post it.
Disclaimers and liability
Waggy Paths is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss or harm that results from relying on information in the app or on this website, or from anything that happens at a place. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
