Accessibility

Our commitment

We want Waggy Paths to work for as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA on this website.

What we do

  • Pages use a clear structure of headings and landmarks, with a “Skip to content” link.
  • Everything can be used with a keyboard, and the focused item is clearly marked.
  • Text and controls are checked for colour contrast against WCAG AA.
  • Images that carry meaning have text descriptions, and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Animations and movement switch off if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • The site adapts to phones, tablets and desktop screens.

Known limitations

  • The map in the app uses Google Maps, which isn’t fully accessible with every screen reader.
  • Some place details and photos come from other owners and third parties, and may not have text descriptions.
  • This site hasn’t yet had an independent accessibility audit.

Feedback

If something on Waggy Paths doesn’t work for you, please tell us. Email help@waggypaths.com.au with the page or screen and what happened, and we’ll look into it.
